  • Expiry

    How many days are left, with a warning under 14 days.

  • CA bundle

    Did the server send the intermediate certificates? Missing chain is the number one reason phones show errors.

  • Trust

    Can we build a path to a public root certificate?

  • Key and signature

    RSA 2048 or better, SHA-256 signature, TLS 1.2 or 1.3.

What does the SSL checker test?
It connects to your server on port 443, reads the live certificate and checks the domain name match, the expiry date, the CA chain (intermediate certificates), the signature algorithm and whether the certificate is trusted by browsers.
Why does my site show "not secure" even though I bought an SSL?
The most common reasons are a missing CA bundle, the certificate installed for www only, mixed content (http images or scripts), or the certificate has expired. Run the checker and then the mixed content checker to find the exact cause.
Can I check a website hosted anywhere?
Yes. The tool works for any public domain, whether the site is hosted with HostingWalay, another Pakistani host, or abroad.
