Free CSR Generator (2048 and 4096-bit RSA)

You need a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) to activate any SSL certificate. This generator creates the CSR and the private key inside your browser using Web Crypto, so the private key never leaves your computer. Fill in the form, download both files, and paste the CSR when you activate your SSL.

Certificate details

Exactly the domain to secure. Use *.example.pk for a wildcard.
Only for multi-domain certificates. Leave empty for single domain or wildcard.
Required for OV and EV. Must match SECP or NTN.

Generation happens in your browser. Nothing is sent to SSLWalay. 4096-bit keys can take 10 to 40 seconds on a phone.

What happens next

  • 1. Download both files

    The .csr goes to the certificate authority through us. The .key stays with you.

  • 2. Order the certificate

    Pick any certificate from the catalog and paste the CSR during activation.

  • 3. Install

    When the certificate arrives, install it together with the private key and the CA bundle. See the cPanel guide or the VPS guide.

Is it safe to generate a CSR online?
Here, yes. The key pair is created inside your browser with the Web Crypto API and node-forge. Nothing is uploaded. You can turn off your internet after the page loads and it still works.
What should I write in the Common Name?
The exact domain you want to secure, for example example.pk or www.example.pk. For a wildcard certificate write *.example.pk. For OV and EV certificates the organization name must match your SECP or FBR record.
Where do I paste the CSR?
In the SSL activation form inside the KhalidGroup client area after you order, or send it to our WhatsApp and we activate it for you.
