Do .pk domains support SSL?
Yes. Every certificate authority issues certificates for .pk, .com.pk, .net.pk, .org.pk, .edu.pk and .gov.pk. The domain ending does not change the price or the process.
Which validation method to choose
- Email: the CA emails admin@, administrator@, hostmaster@, postmaster@ or webmaster@ your domain. Make sure one of these mailboxes exists on your hosting.
- DNS CNAME: add a record at your DNS provider. Works well when the domain is at DomainWalay or when your email is not set up yet.
- HTTP file: upload a small file to
/.well-known/pki-validation/. Not available for wildcards.
PKNIC WHOIS does not show contact emails publicly, so the CA cannot use the WHOIS email method for .pk domains. Use one of the three methods above.
Wildcards on .com.pk
A wildcard for *.example.com.pk covers shop.example.com.pk and www.example.com.pk. It does not cover example.com.pk itself unless the product adds the base domain automatically, which most Sectigo and DigiCert products do. Check the product page or ask us.

- Confirm the domain resolves to your hosting (an A record is set).
